10th March, 2014
Your Holiness,
At the outset, I offer my respectful salutation at your lotus feet.
I am writing this letter to express my deep sense of gratitude to your Holiness and Sadhvi Bhagwati and all the wonderful devotees, staff and volunteers at divine Parmarth Niketan Ashram for the very warm and heart touching hospitality extended to me and my members during our stay at the Ashram.  All of us are deeply touched and profoundly moved by the unconditional love of your holiness and your devotees have showered upon all of us.
Certainly it was our deepest pleasure and privilege for the opportunity to visit the magnificent Ashram in holy city of Rishikesh and meeting your holiness and your devotees.  We were very much moved and inspired by swami-ji's cordial gesture of magnanimity and benevolence of you and your devotees have showered upon us.
For me and my young members, The International Yoga Festival - different yoga classes and the divine discourses by different great Saints and Sages and the magnificent evening offering of Havan and Aarti Puja at the bank of Ganges, was a truly spectacular moment and has been heavenly experience for us.  All of us shall remain extremely grateful to your holiness and all devotees of Parmarth Ashram for this divine gift.
We very much look forward to have a close association with Parmarth Niketan Ashram and to work together for the peace and happiness of all.
We eagerly wait for gracious visit of your holiness to Ladakh in the month of August to bless our humble festival of Buddhist Heritage of Ladakh.
With deepest gratitude and salutation.
Yours sincerely,
Bhikkhu Sanghasena

20th March, 2014
Your Holiness,
Please accept our reverential pranams.
Though it has been almost 2 weeks since the IYF 2015, we are still under the heady spiritual effects of the divine ashram & satsang of the pujya Acharyas. It is this feeling which prompts us to write to you. Our heartfelt gratitude for such an amazing experience. Words are not enough to convey what you made us feel and we thank you for the honour which you bestowed on us.
We believe every blessing comes with a responsibility and we re-dedicate ourselves to alleviate suffering of fellow human beings both physical and mental. With this intention we offer our humble services to the ashram in a manner we can. We look forward to great times under your guidance.
PS: A special mention of Nandini ji who was most kind and helpful, not to undermine any other’s effort.

“Sangha is a requirement to progress along any spiritual path. The sacred community that gathers at the International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan is sincere, supportive and loving. Everyone is welcome and invited... The International Yoga Festival presents an opportunity to learn from some of the most dedicated and experienced teachers in the world. There is a reason people come here from across the world. Most people in their lifetime will never even ask the questions which are being answered at the International Yoga Festival, Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh.”

Having taught all over the World, IYF is the most diverse, life-altering festival. The energy of Rishikesh, the Ganga, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram truly transforms people. It is a great joy to witness the incredible shift in people’s lives when they come to this event.

Here at the banks of holy Mother Ganga, the birthplace of Yoga, it is the perfect time to ask ourselves whether we are using our precious life to bring light into our lives and lives of others or whether we’re squandering our time and resources. [IYF] is the perfect time to recommit to developing a compassionate heart, to working for peace within and without so that the light may prevail.

The honor of sharing the sacred practices of Sanskrit mantra and nāda yoga with an international student body has forced my teaching delivery to become clearer, more concise, and more focused largely on their direct experience and skill enhancement. My go-to cultural references, assumptions of shared knowledge, and many unconscious biases are being steadily rooted out in my effort to reach people with the pure power of the practices. Teaching at IYF has been an incredible learning experience for me!

The International Yoga Festival takes seriously the collective power for change that contemporary yogis possess when they come together. IYF does not just ride the wave but is integral in enhancing the momentum as yoga moves forward changing the world for the better.

On average, 60,000 thoughts flood through your head in a day. Researchers say, 59,000 are repeated from the day before. The running playlist of same/same anxiety and worries plagues the mind of the average person daily. IYF gives us the opportunity to create a new thought pattern. We come from over 100 countries all over the world to change the habitual thoughts and dive into something new. I’ve been bringing groups for 6 years, over 80 people have been astronomically changed by the powerful inspiration from India & IYF.

It is a One of a Kind experience that connects people of all walks of life and unites us all on the banks of Ma Ganga to experience the true meaning of yoga, service and pure love for one another.
