Paula Tapia, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP, is an international Yoga educator and a mindfulness and wellness expert specializing in integrative health, self-care education and lifestyle modification techniques. Brought up in the spiritual traditions of South American Shamanism and trained in the lineage of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, Paula is the Yoga Therapist, Mindfulness Advisor and Research Associate at Attune Health, an Autoimmune & Inflammation Care and Research Center in Beverly Hills, CA. In addition, she is the Associate Director of The Yoga and The Healing Sciences Program at Loyola Marymount University, CA and she is the Director of a clinically based, stress-reducing Restorative Yoga Program designed for Yoga teachers, fitness professionals and healthcare practitioners. A lifelong dancer and athlete, Paula has been teaching creative and intelligent forms of movement for over 20 years, including dance, fitness, aqua therapy, functional training and physical rehabilitation. Her style of Yoga is individualized, safe, creative and accessible to everybody. Her classes incorporate Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Dhyāna (meditation), Bhāvanā (visualization) and Nāda Yoga (sound therapy), among other healing arts. Born and raised in Chile, Paula shares Yoga globally in English and Spanish.
