Swami Santatmananda is resident acharia at the Rishikesh ashram of Swami Dayananda and is currently conducting a 3-year residential course on Sanskrit and Vedanta.
Born to a traditional orthodox family in Chennai, he was a Software Engineer by profession. His association and learning with Swami Paramarthananda early in his life sowed the seed and nurtured his interest in Spirituality all along. He has further undergone intensive training in Vedanta and Sanskrit at the Arsha Vidya Pitham, Rishikesh for a period of three years (2003 – ’06) under the tutelage of Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
He has been awarded a Ph.D from one of the presitigious institute in India named SASTRA UNIVERSITY. The thesis is a comparative critique between visitadvaita and advaita and the thesis was awarded the best thesis for the year in humanities.
